A shape that holds everything
The most durable collectibles in the world refuse to be about anything.
Bearbrick has produced tens of thousands of variations across twenty five years. The bear has never changed. The pose has never changed. What changes is everything painted onto it, and that is the entire mechanism. The shape is empty enough to carry a Basquiat, a Kubrick film, a streetwear label, and a chocolate brand, without any of them looking wrong on it.
An empty shape holds more than a full one.
Blokyz starts from that principle and adds the thing Bearbrick deliberately does not have. A world.
Two halves, one archive
Originals. Our own characters. An in-house art line, archetypes, editions, and a coherent design universe. Genesis Blokyz are the first citizens of the archive, and the Blokyverse is the world they live in. This is the half that has to be built slowly, because a world is not something you can buy.
Partners. Limited editions made with the communities shaping digital culture. Each one is a hundred piece run built around a single ecosystem. These are not generic co-branded toys. They are design led objects that encode a community's identity, and each one arrives with an animation made by our own team.
Neither half works alone. Partners give the archive its subjects and its reach. Originals give it a spine that outlives any one cycle. Together they are a record of a moment in culture, made in objects rather than in screenshots.
Why the archive framing matters
Web3 forgets quickly. Communities that defined a year are hard to find two years later. The artefacts are screenshots, dead links, and a Discord nobody opens.
Physical objects do not work that way. A resin figure on a shelf outlives the cycle that produced it, and it does so without anyone maintaining a server.
That is the thesis. We are not making merchandise for projects. We are keeping a record, one hundred pieces at a time, and the record happens to be beautiful.
What holds across everything we make
Craft comes first, always. Collectible grade sculpt, paint, and packaging, without compromising quality to hit a date.
Community drives everything. Holders have input into what gets documented next.
Partners are friends. A collaboration is a relationship, not a licensing transaction.
Cultures compound. They start slow and grow exponentially. Our job is to make a space where people share ideas freely and everyone is welcome.
Storytelling never stops. The lore, the comics, and the animations are not marketing around the product. They are the product's other half.
Two commitments worth stating plainly
Every published piece of art is made by a human. We use AI internally for tooling. Nothing generated goes out under the Blokyz name. On a ten thousand piece original collection that decision costs real time and real money, and we are not going to move on it.
Runs end. One hundred pieces per design, and then the design is finished. Short runs cost more per unit and cap revenue per design. Funko proved the inverse case at scale. A collectible that can be reprinted whenever it sells well is not a collectible.
Built by collectors
Blokyz is a team of ten plus across strategy, consumer tech, advertising, art, animation, live action, and comics. The design team has spent years making comics, animations, and campaigns for Riot, Supercell, Valorant, and Clash of Clans.
The craft in a Bloky is the same craft that has shipped for the biggest names in gaming.
Collecting is a core part of human culture. Our vision is to build a collectible for everyone.
